Prudence Crandall Center

For over 50 years, Prudence Crandall Center (PCC) has been at the forefront of efforts to reduce and ultimately end the devastating impact of domestic violence across our communities.

PCC is one of the few programs in the country that offers a full continuum of care—emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing, and a wide range of support services—providing practical, long-term solutions for victims and their children. Their comprehensive, trauma-informed approach helps survivors heal, regain independence, and build safe, self-sufficient lives free from violence.

In addition to direct services, PCC invests in the future through professional training, youth prevention programs, and community outreach. These initiatives raise awareness, reach those in need, and help prevent violence before it starts.

Each year, their work impacts the lives of more than 10,000 adults and children throughout the region and the state, bringing hope, safety, and the possibility of a better future.
